Used by many of the largest conventional, sustainable and organic growers in the world, SERENADE® consistently helps growers win the battle against fungal and bacterial diseases. SERENADE contains a unique, patented strain of Bacillus subtilis (QST 713 Strain) which provides over 30 different lipopeptides that work synergistically to destroy disease pathogens and provide superior antimicrobial activity. It protects vegetables, fruit, nut and vine crops against diseases such as Fire Blight, Botrytis, Sour Rot, Rust, Sclerotinia, Powdery Mildew, Bacterial Spot and White Mold. Quality controlled formulation and state of the art manufacturing adds to the consistent performance that SERENADE provides.
SERENADE is unique because it contains the only Bacillus subtilis strain (QST713) that has three groups of lipopeptides working together to destroy disease-causing pathogens. It stops harmful spores from germinating, it disrupts the germ tubes and mycelial growth and it inhibits attachment of the plant pathogen to the leaf by producing a zone of inhibition which restricts the growth of the disease. This novel, and multiple site, mode of action not only creates an effective fungicide, but also makes it very difficult for diseases to develop resistance. SERENADE is therefore an important tool for growers in areas where resistance to conventional products has developed, and it will help to prevent the development of resistant pathogens when it is rotated in a control program with other registered fungicides.
SERENADE is a flexible tank mix option and complements standard disease control programs. It is compatible with registered products such as copper, sulfur and other foliar-applied micronutrients, insecticides and fungicides. SERENADE is also compatible with use of non-penetrating, non-ionic products such as silicon surfactants.

SERENADE is safe for workers with just a 4 hour re-entry interval. Its zero-day preharvest interval makes SERENADE an excellent tool for late season disease problems, right up to and including the day of harvest.
SERENADE is exempt from the requirements of a residue tolerance, helping growers meet "clean" food standards established by independent scientific certification systems. Also, an exported crop treated with SERENADE is not subject to Codex import requirements.
SERENADE is compatible with IPM programs. It is non-toxic to beneficial insects, mites, bees and other non-target organisms.
SERENADE is available in two formulations: SERENADE MAX (EPA Reg. No. 69592-11), a concentrated formula which comes in 12 lb. bags, and SERENADE ASO (EPA Reg. No. 69592-12), an aqueous suspension formula which comes in 2.5 gallon containers and contains the same proven active ingredient as the familiar dry version. SERENADE ASO's easy-to-mix-and-apply formulation leaves no spray deposit on fruit or foliage.
Both formulations are listed for use in organic production by OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute); SERENADE MAX & ASO and their uses meet the criteria defined in the NOP (National Organic Program) rule for use on organically produced crops.
