AgraQuest Inc. Hires Former Syngenta Executive to Head Global Marketing and Product Development Team
Ashish Malik to Oversee Strategy, Upcoming Product Launches and Global Market Expansion
DAVIS, Calif. (Apr. 30, 2008) AgraQuest, Inc., a leading provider of effective and safe pest management products today announced that Ashish Malik has been hired as the Senior VP of Global Marketing. Malik joins the AgraQuest executive management team and will begin his new duties effective immediately.
Malik will oversee product development, regulatory and marketing functions for AgraQuest, focusing his efforts on creating and implementing efficient and effective strategies that bring value to its customers and builds brand portfolio value. This includes identifying and resourcing projects that have a strong fit in the market and high probability of success.

Malik comes to AgraQuest from Syngenta where he served as the Head of Commercial Operations for the home care division and the General Manager of the Professional Pest Management business unit. Prior to Syngenta, Malik worked for Imerys, where he was a Business Unit Director, and for BFGoodrich, where he served as a Market Manager.

AgraQuest, known for its fungicides SERENADE®, SONATA®, and RHAPSODY®, recently launched its first bio-insecticide, BARITONE. AgraQuest's broad pipeline of new products includes an insecticide with activity against sucking pests scheduled to launch by year's end, pending EPA approval.
Malik will be based out of AgraQuest's company headquarters in Davis, California.
